Clinical Supervision

Clinical Supervision is the professional relationship between a supervisor and supervisee. It is the process in which a Licensed Clinical Social Worker monitors and evaluates the supervisee’s clinical practice to increase skills, gain confidence and competence as a social worker, and offer support in providing quality and ethical social work services.

Our time together in supervision can be used to review clinical cases, discuss clinical concerns or questions, and learn important clinical skills to prepare you on your journey to becoming a LCSW. We will have the opportunity to review the NASW Code of Ethics, prepare you for the ASWB exam, and explore a number of other important topics that are vital as social workers.

To be eligible for LCSW in the state of Virginia, one must receive a total of 100 hours of clinical supervision from a board approved clinical supervisor.

Clinical supervision will take place on a virtual platform.

I look forward to offering you a nonjudgmental space to explore and enrich your clinical practice.
